A Word from Sr. Beatrice

“With a grateful heart I would like to thank Fr. Paul, Fr. Francis, Fr. Peter, Sr. Cecilia and all the parishioners.  I want to give special thanks to Fr. Paul who invited me to work with different groups in 2007 after I retired from Mt. St. Joseph Hospital.

         

I applied for retirement because my eyes need some rest.  I had lost 75% of my visual nerves. Thanks be to God for I look normal and can see things in my daily life.  I’ll be back after I finish my Sabbatical Program in my Provincial House. See you in Nov 2013. Thanks again.”

"Be Strong, Be Wise, Be faithful"  Annual Summer Live-In Retreat will be held by Canadian Martyrs Prayer Community for youth and young adults ages 13-28 years old from Aug 2-4 (Fri-Sun) at Aldcez Gardens Retreat House in Ladner.  Inspiring speakers include Clayton Imoo, Director, Office of Youth Ministry from the diocese, worship, Holy Mass, outdoor activities, games and lots of great food.  Cost $50 each, space is limited, registration starts this week.

 

Camp Son Shine  Thanks to all volunteers in providing our children a wonderful and meaningful summer week.

 

Parish Pastoral Council      will be held this Friday 7:30 p.m.  Each parish group should send at least one member to the meeting.
