Summer Camp                  We will run a fun summer camp from Jul 8-12.  Experience a great adventure of exciting events in the bible with a group of young team facilitators and other kids ages 8-10.  Fee is only $70 for an entire week of all-day fun and excitement.  Please bring your own lunch bag.  Register at the foyer.

          We are also looking for volunteers ages 15 and up to help lead a fun summer camp.  It a great way to get leadership experience, while having a great time.  Sign up at the foyer after Mass or email cmccsummer@gmail.com.

 

PREP           Children Catechism PREP in English Classes for Gr. 1-7 will begin from Sep 11 (every Wednesday) from 7:00-8:15 p.m. Registration form is available from the Info Counter.  Early bird before Jun 30 has discount $20.

 

Pro-Life Sunday     Say YES to life.  A special collection will be taken next Sunday (Jun 16) to help pro-life organizations in the Archdiocese.  The proceeds support local Pro-life/Right to Life groups, Birthright, Crisis Pregnancy Centers, Campaign Life Coalition, anti-euthanasia groups and University pro-life groups.

*         Suggestion: $432 for each family, or $36/month for 12 months.

Church Infrastructure        In a recent archdiocesan seismic risk assessment of our parish, our buildings are found to be "low risk" in the event of earthquake.  No work on our building is needed.  For more information on this, please go to www.rcav.org/infrastructure.

 

Catholic Friends      Mandarin Evangelization Evening will be held on Jun 15 (Sat) 6:30 p.m. at the Parish Hall.  Theme "Believe"  Encourage Catholics to bring your non-Catholics family and friends.  Dinner provided with talk and sharing.

"In Defense of Faith" - Religion, Science and Faith: The Challenge of Modern Atheism        Defending our Faith in the light of science, and modern atheism can often be a challenge and a barrier to evangelize other.  Darrell Hall, teacher of Religious Education and former principal of St. Thomas More Collegiate, will give this presentation at Immaculate Conception, Delta on Jun 12 (Wed), 7-9 p.m.
