Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church – Church Bulletin

15th Sunday in Ordinary Time – Jul 13, 2014

Year of Hope

"For he that sings praises, not only praise, but also praise with gladness: he that sings praises, not only sing, but also love him of whom he sing. In praise, there is the speaking forth of one confessing; in singing, the affection of one loving."               - St. Augustine

St. Augustine reminds us that just singing a song is not enough. When we sing songs of God's love, it makes the songs more than just any kind of songs, but truly adds to the power of our prayers to Him.                        ~ St. Mary's Choir - Children/Young Adults
