Commissioning of Catechists This Sunday we will commission our catechists to work for the Lord in our parish. Please support them in your prayers.
Parish Pastoral Council will be held on Sep 20 (Fri) 7:30 p.m. Each parish group should send at least one member to the meeting.
Canadian Martyrs Feast Day Next weekend, we will celebrate the Solemnity of our Patron Saints, with baptism at the 10:00 a.m. Mass. All are welcome to the reception in hall after every Mass.
Joining the faith Journey
Adult Catechism (RCIA)
RCIA is a process involving various steps (rites) and stages that lead adults into full communion with the Catholic Church.
This process is for:
1) Unbaptized adult,
2) Adult baptized at non-Catholic church,
3) Adult Catholic who wants to receive First Communion and/or Confirmation.
4) Catholics are also welcome to refresh their faith.
In Cantonese every Wednesday 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
In English every Thursday 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
In Mandarin every Saturday 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
PREP Children Catechism PREP in English. Classes for Gr. 1-7 every Wednesday from 7:00-8:15 p.m.
YFFP High school PREP (YFFP) is accepting registrations for this new school year.
Special Collection for Syria will be taken this Sunday for those suffering displacement on account of the ravages of the war in Syria. The emergency humanitarian campaign is coordinated by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace.
Four Hours for life In order to support the 40 Days for Life in the diocese, our Canadian Martyrs CWL group will hold a 4 hours Rosary chain for Pro-Life and against abortion at our parish on Sep 27 (Fri) from 8:00 p.m. - 12:00 midnight. All are welcome. Thank you for sharing your love to those in need.
Viva Italia Our Lady Queen of Martyrs-CWL invites all to their Annual Cultural Night on Oct 5 (Sat) 6:30 - 10:00 p.m. at our parish. This is to raise funds for our rectory, vocations and to support our chosen charitable organization around the world and Canada. Tickets $25. Sponsorship is always welcome.
