Inaugural Archdiocesan Women’s Conference
Why should you attend?
Pope John Paul II wrote in his Letter to Women: “Thank you, every woman, for the simple fact of being a woman! Through the insight which is so much a part of your womanhood, you enrich the world’s understanding and help to make human relations more honest and authentic.”
Pope Francis: ‘The role of women in the Church is not only maternity; the mother of the family, but it’s stronger: it is, in fact, the icon of the Virgin, of Our Lady, the one who helps the Church grow!”
In short, each and every woman has a place in our Catholic faith, in our Church. Each woman has something to share with other women: Experience, Insight, Faith, Love.
On Nov 23 (Sat) at Vancouver Trade & Convention Centre from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., you’ll have the opportunity to hear from three Catholic women: Teresa Tomeo, Theresa Polakovic and Cheridan Sanders.
