Home Mission The second collection this Sunday is to support the 12 Catholic missions in First Nations communities throughout the Archdiocese and the Apostleship of the Sea serving seafarers who work on ships that visit Vancouver harbour. Please support.
Collection for the Victims of Typhoon in the Philippines Nov. 24 (next Sun), a special collection in the Archdiocese will be taken for typhoon relief. Development and Peace's Caritas partner in the Philippines will be coordinating distribution of food and shelter for victims of the catastrophe. Donation can be made by cheque payable to our parish or donate online at www.devp.org. It is eligible for the matching fund program of the federal government until Dec 9, 2013.
Year of Faith Closing and Papal Honours Mass Archbishop Miller will celebrate with a special Mass at Holy Rosary Cathedral on Nov 24 (Sun) at 2:30 p.m. In addition, awards from Pope Francis will be given out to men and women in the Archdiocese for unstinting service to the Archdiocese. Reception to follow.
